Our first trip to Paris, this boutique hotel couldn’t have been better. Steps from the d’Orsay and Louvre Museums, a great location near Metro and RER stations. We booked a larger room (#55), spacious and comfortable, for a week’s stay in November. The staff was both friendly and helpful, with recommendations for the restaurants nearby. There was a even a great boulangerie at the end of the block. Easy access to all of Paris, we never had to taker a cab. We even walked from the hotel along thje Seine to Notre Dame, and we in our 70′s! Breakfasts at the hotel were pricey, so we ate at bistros down the block. We would stay there again, and recpommend it to any who ask.- C. des États-Unis

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel d’Orsay for a week this past Spring (April 2011). It was our first time in Paris and we found it to be a great base to explore all the usual touristy sites. The hotel is located in a safe area and only two blocks away from the subway which takes you anywhere you want to go in the city. We had no problems walking around – day or night – and always felt safe. Very clean rooms (albeit small), but the bed was comfy. The only downside for us was the fact that they only have one iron in a room on the first floor that you have to go to each time you want to iron something (can’t bring the iron up to your room). If possible, bring a small travel iron with you! I would definitely return to this hotel.- M. des États-Unis

We stayed here for the bank holiday weekend. Very good location – everything walkable or metro nearby and velo station near too. Room was huge (deluxe room), vey quiet and nice shower/bath. This all being said I would expect this for the amount we spent but I guess you get what you pay for.- N. du Royaume Uni
